Attorney Susan L. Jeffries has practiced law since 1980. The first ten years of her career were spent working as a tax attorney for Chevron. In 1990, she began focusing her practice primarily on family law. With a master of laws degree in taxation, her financial expertise enables her to provide sound, practical solutions for the most complex financial problems related to divorce.

Ms. Jeffries has chaired the East Bay Tax club, the Tax Section and the Family Law Section of the Alameda County Bar Association. She chaired the "financial issues" sub committee of the California State Bar Family Law Section and has co-chaired the Taxation Committee of the American Bar Association's Family Law Section. Before becoming an attorney, she built and raced sports cars. She has lived in Alameda since 1984, and is married with one daughter.

Ms. Jeffries has also received numerous other awards and served in a variety of committees apart from those mentioned above.
